We are looking for a General Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow. This person will be vested in our company's future and will embrace new challenges, both in terms of leadership and growth. The successful candidate for this position will be capable of managing a team of employees and balancing various competing interests to ensure that the needs of the business are always being met. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about food safety, customer service, retail sales, technically proficient, and eager to play a role in shaping the future of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive work atmosphere through employee relations.
- Set daily, weekly and monthly goals for sales, gross profit and cash flow based on store performance.
- Manage opening and closing of store in a timely manner.
- Train employees about financial aspects of retail business.
- Stay current on laws, regulations and industry trends affecting retail business.
- Confer with staff to discuss problems and possible solutions.
- Use discretion in hiring decisions.
- Monitor the work of staff.
- Coordinate with other managers in the region to increase productivity.
- Review customers' custom patterns over time to predict future demand.
