Job Description
Summary/Objective: The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs equipment and plant facilities
- Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment
- Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
- Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Assists personnel with troubleshooting
- Use various hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical equipment, including facilities maintenance
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, technical capacity, and problem-solving/analysis abilities.
- The ability to teach and train others in a coach or mentor role as needed
- Must possess strong computer skills, including any software relevant to the position.
