Job Description:
- Promote the mission of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
- Supervise and assist students in the study center with tutoring, study skills, organization, and oral testing
- Collaborate with the academic services coordinator and teachers to utilize resources, monitor progress, and maintain records
- Communicate regularly with staff, parents, and administration to address student needs and share updates
- Help maintain an organized study center and assist in classrooms or with other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent
- Some post higher training in education preferred
- Works well with children
- Knowledge and comfort level verbal and math skills up through middle school
- Basic competency in computer skills
- Resourceful & creative to proved adaptations for students
- Self-starter
- High energy
- Ability to adjust to daily changes in task schedule
- Adapts well to a variety of tasks
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and decision making ability
- Team player
